SUPPLY, INSTALLATION AND COMMISSIONING OF A VIDEO CONFERENCING FACILITY AND A SERVER

INVITATION TO BID (ITB)
EASTECO has allocated funds to be used for supply, installation and commissioning of a video conferencing facility and a server.
EASTECO invites sealed bids from qualified and competent suppliers for the above items, which shall be awarded separately as Lot 1(with two options) and Lot 2 respectively.
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the OPEN bidding (Regional) procedures contained in the EAC Procurement Manual 2016.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from EASTECO and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below under 7(a) from 8.30a.m to 12.30 p.m. and 2.00p.m to 5.00p.m. The documents shall be downloaded from the EAC and EASTECO websites: www.eac.int under “opportunities/procurement” and www.easteco.org under “explore easteco/tenders”. Bidders are also advised to be regularly checking on these websites for any additional information/clarification/addendums on this tender.
Each bidder is required to pay a non-refundable fee of USD. 50 (Fifty) for the bidding Document (prepared in English); either downloaded and printed from the websites above OR obtained from the address given below under 7(a). Banking details:

The Bids must be delivered to the address under 7(a) below on or before Thursday, 28th March 2019 at 11.00 am. East African Time. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address under below 7(a) on Thursday, 28th March 2019 at 11.30 am. East African Time.

Submission of Electronic bids are acceptable, i.e. dully filled, signed , stamped and clear/readable bids may be scanned and sent only in PDF and ONLY to the following email address..…[email protected]…. SUCH bids MUST bear a PASSWORD to prevent access, which shall then be sent to the referred email address for opening of the bids strictly between 11.01 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. on Thursday, 28TH March 2019 at 11.00 am. East African Time.
