INVITATION FOR TENDER FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MALUNGO-MNAZIMMOJA WATER PROJECT FOR MASASI INTEGRATED WASH PROJECT TENDER No. DOM/WASH/07/2024/01
The Anglican Church Diocese of Masasi is the faith-based organization based in Southern Tanzania in three regions of Lindi (all districts), Mtwara (Masasi and Nanyumbu districts) and Ruvuma (Tunduru district). The church is dedicated in serving all people spiritually and physically through preaching WORD OF GOD and development interventions regardless of their ethnicity, religion, race, gender or political affiliation. The Diocese has more than 30 years of experience in implementing development programs in
various sectors such as Health, Education, Nutrition, Food Security, Environment Protection and Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). Currently, the Diocese of Masasi (DoM) in partnership with the World Vision (TZ&US) is implementing WASH program in Lindi region, Mtama district council.
a. The Anglican Church Diocese of Masasi invites sealed tenders from eligible suppliers and local technicians.
b. Lots (1, 2, 3 and 4 – Supplies) require eligible, reputable and registered domestic/local supplier with a minimum of three years experiences and evidence of good records of performance in the same.
c. Lots 5 and 6 require eligible Local technician for civil works and electrical works with a minimum of NTA level III from VETA or recognisable technical institution by VETA, NACTE or TCU and minimum three years experiences in constructions of buildings (water infrastructures) and electrical installation in water related projects, good records of performance and verifiable similar completed projects implemented within three years up to March 2024.
d. All submissions that will be sent via electronic channel must be in a portable document file (PDF) format.
e. Site visits for construction related works is mandatory and shall be conducted on (to be indicated after final review and comments). Contact personnel will be as per schedule that will be included in tender documents.
The Anglican Church Diocese of Masasi invites tenders from eligible bidders; reputable and registered suppliers/service providers as described below:
LOT 1: Supply of Pipes and Fittings for Malungo-Mnazimmoja water project
LOT 2: Supply of Industrial construction materials for Malungo-Mnazimmoja water project
LOT 3: Supply of solar panels and solar accessories for Malungo-Mnazimmoja water project
LOT 4: Supply of Building materials for Malungo-Mnazimmoja water project
LOT 5: Local Technicians for civil works for Malungo-Mnazimmoja water project
LOT 6: Local Technicians for Electrical works for Malungo-Mnazimmoja water project
An interested eligible bidders may access tender documents via email addres [email protected] upon presentation of a request letter dully stating the business, company or technician name, tender number, LOT number and name and contact details. Tender documents are obtained FREE OF CHARGE.
All bids should be sent by email or by post. Bids sent via email address should be in zipped locked folders named the company/firm/technician’s name and bidders should provide unlocking password upon the day of tender opening as specified in tender documents. Bids sent by post must be sent by express post such as EMS/DHL or any other preferred by bidder and
should be sent and reach The Anglican Church Diocese of Masasi head office premises on or before closing date and time. The Anglican Church Diocese of Masasi shall not be liable for bids delivered after bid closing date and time.
Bidder should send completed Tender documents in plain sealed envelopes or zipped locked folders of their technical proposal and financial proposal separately clearly showing the Tender and Lot No. addressed to [email protected] OR

Tenders will be opened the following day after deadline in the presence of bidders or their representatives who wish to witness the opening, at The Anglican Church Diocese of Masasi – Head office UMOJA HALL at 11:00Hrs and via online ZOOM platform. ZOOM link will be shared in your email.
It should be noted that The Anglican Church Diocese of Masasi is not bound to accept any tender by the criteria of the lowest or highest price quote. All tenders will be evaluated as per The Anglican Church Diocese of Masasi procurement criteria and regulations. Any attempt of corruption by the bidders shall be zero tolerated by The Anglican Church Diocese of Masasi.
