EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR SERVICES TO THE NYANZAGA GOLD PROJECT
EOI/NGP/031 SINOTRUCK HOWO
Sotta Mining Corporation Limited (Sotta) is a Tanzanian incorporated joint venture company between the Nyanzaga Mining Company Limited (NMCL) and the Government of Tanzania. Sotta is developing the Nyanzaga Gold Project (Nyanzaga or the Project) located within the southern area of the Lake Victoria Gold Fields, north-western Tanzania. Nyanzaga is in the Sengerema District within the Mwanza Region of Tanzania. The Project area lies approximately 60 km southwest of Mwanza.
Sotta is in the process of developing the Project which includes the design and build of a gold processing plant, open pit mine, and associated infrastructure.
Sotta is seeking expressions of interest (EOls) for the supply of SINOTRUCK HOW Water Truck and SINOTRUCK HOWO Hiab Knuckle Boom Truck for the Nyanzaga Gold Project.
The supply of SINOTRUCK – HOWO will include:
- 1 x NEW – SINOTRUCK HOWO – 6 x 6 – RHD Diesel Truck, 371 Horse Power 6cyl Diesel Turbo Charged, Manual Gearbox 12,00 R 20 Tyres, Air Conditioned, Electric Windows, with 16 TON KNUCKLE BOOM HIAB, includes, Flat Tray deck 6300 (L) × 2300 (W) to support 20 Foot Container with twist Locks, 4 x Stabiliser / Out Rigger Legs (2x Front and 2 x Rear of Tray)
- 1 : NEW – SINOTRUCK HOWO – 6 x 6 RHD Diesel Truck, 371 Horse Power 6cyl Diesel Turbo Charged, Manual Gearbox 12,00 R 20 Tyres, Air Conditioned, Electric Windows, with 20,000 Lt Carbon Steel Tank Capacity (20M3) with Hydraulic Driven Water Pump system, includes PTO, Oil Pump, Motor, Radiator, Control Unit in Cabin, Air control valves with sprays front and rear, 25m hose reel and wash down cannon at rear.
Sotta invites supply companies interested and qualified in delivering this scope to submit EOls accompanied by documents supporting the following requirements:
a) Detailed company information including ownership, organisational structure and details of any Tanzanian operating entity, including evidence of local content compliance with the Tanzania Mining Commission or verification of eligibility to apply.
b) Evidence of successful delivery of a scope of this nature and magnitude within the mining industry, over the last 10 years. Details of past and present projects should include a brief scope of work, the services provided and the value in USD
c) Details of current work under contract including value, assigned equipment and labour resources.
d) Details and experience of key personnel proposed for involvement in the scope.
e) A copy of the of company’s Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) policy, and HSE statistics for the last 3 years. Including the company’s lost time injury frequency rate (LTIFR) and medically treated injury frequency rate (MTIFR).
f) Verification by means of formal documentation such as audited financial report) of the company’s financial capacity to deliver the scope of work.
g) Ability to provide Warranty, with ongoing service of parts and maintenance.

Applications are to include a summary of responses for the for items a to h which is a maximum of two A4 pages in size. The summary is to address all 7 points and reference attached information as required. The summary may be an email or word/pdf document.
Last date for acceptance of EOls will be Wednesday 18th September 2024. Evaluation of the EOIs will be based on qualification, experience, and commercial aspects.
